Artist's Comments

Finished this about a week or two ago, took me ages to do! I think it was 4 hours work just in the right arm of the tiger doing reallllyyyy fine fur strokes.. even worse mum accidently spilt paint on that paw so I had to fix it.

Done it automotive basecoats on MDF wood. Comments and favs appreciated, I put alot of effort into this.

Reference was used, thanks to for the photograph. (Finally found the owner of the reference, check out his work :thumbsup:)

Strength by =suicidal-surfy is not something I would normally gravitate towards (I am not big on animals as subject matter), but falls into the range of exceptionally executed on a technique level that makes it difficult to ignore. It is exquisitely rendered to exacting detail, and not in a clinical fashion, but with some real life to it. (Suggested by ~asymons and Featured by `zeruch)

All up I think it took me around 60 hours or so?
Most of the time was doing each fur stroke though :D

wow! it looks like a photo, i assume it took you about 30 hours of effort to finish that, you really deserve an award for that work ;)
and btw, i used to have your website on my favorites but i lost it ( dunno if you noticed i didn't post any topics lately). anyways can i have a link please :)
